Programmer Job Description

SUMMARY

Company is an independent software provider that delivers deep vertical expertise and knowledge in the markets we are committed to serve, including: building materials, automotive, telco, food, city/muni, and healthcare. We are now seeking to fill a programming position in our company headquarters.


Job Requirements

·         Developing applications, services, and add-ons for our core products with an emphasis on web application development.

·         integrating various hardware devices to our applications

·         Working with GPS devices and Location based services.

·         Developing applications for mobile devices and telephones.

·         Developing interfaces to third party software

·         Core applications are traditional Microsoft SQL database client\server applications.

·         Provide programming support for our internal customers.

·         Provide tier 3 support as needed.

Skills and Knowledge Required

·         Working knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages:

§  Vb.net (preferred)

§   C# (preferred)

§   Asp.net (preferred)

§  VB6
 

·         Have technical understanding in the areas of web application programming, database, and system design

·         Bachelors Degree

·         Ability to work with little supervision

·         Previous experience preferred. Experience in MS Windows, MS SQL, mobile phone applications or device integration a plus. Analytical skill set.

·          Multi-level interface and communications skills.
